Dye VL and Dye SR (IPL)
Dye VL and Dye SR make use of Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT), is the next generation of intense pulsed light (IPL). It has a unique filtering system which enhances penetration without using excessive energy levels, thus protecting the epidermis, resulting in safer and more effective clinical outcomes with less discomfort for skin rejuvenation.
Dye VL primarily targets vascular issues like redness and spider veins by focusing on hemoglobin in the blood, while Dye SR targets pigmented lesions like sunspots and freckles by targeting melanin in the skin; essentially, Dye VL treats redness and visible veins, while Dye SR treats hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. Both use a specific wavelength of light to selectively target the desired tissue, causing it to break down. Ideally, a course of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended for best results.
