Dermaplaning Facial
Mechanical exfoliation and peach fluff removal
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive, low-risk skin care procedure to exfoliate the skin and remove facial hair.
Dermaplaning uses a sharp No. 10 surgical blade (a larger, fatter surgical blade) held at a 45-degree angle to gently scrape the outer layer of the skin which consists of dull, dead skin cells. Unwanted facial hair is also removed.
Skin is thoroughly yet gently cleansed and disinfected, ready for the dermaplaning to be performed. Thereafter the skin may be additionally chemically exfoliated if indicated. A treatment mask is then applied and the facial is concluded with a suitable moisturiser and SPF.
