Chemical Peel Treatment Facial
A light or superficial chemical peel is used to remove some of the outer layers of the skin, called the epidermis. This ensures minimal, if any downtime, but a whole lot of glow.
Depending on the skin’s tolerance and indications, different types of chemical peels (e.g. glycolic, lactic, salicylic) and concentrations (25% – 50%) can be applied. They will be left on the skin for a specific time to achieve the desired level of peeling
Skin is thoroughly yet gently cleansed. After occluding sensitive areas, the skin is degreased and the chosen chemical peel is applied. When the desired effect has been reached, the peel is neutralised and the skin is cleansed of any chemical residue. Treatment is concluded with a suitable aftercare moisturiser and SPF.
