AFT 540nm Skin Rejuvenation

Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) is the next generation of intense pulsed light (IPL). It has a unique filtering system which enhances penetration without using excessive energy levels, thus protecting the epidermis, resulting in safer and more effective clinical outcomes with less discomfort for skin rejuvenation.

With each pulse of light energy, heat is emitted to the target area eg. the melanin of pigmented lesion.  This heat damages the target cells whilst leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.  These damaged cells move towards the surface of the skin and slough off over the next few days.  Ideally, a course of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended for best results.

• On arrival, you will be asked to complete a confidential patient intake form.
• A VISIA Skin Analysis may be conducted.
• Your practitioner will then discuss your concerns and requirements with you to get a clear understanding of your expectations.
